Join the KIKIT team and help us provide a welcoming, safe and supportive space for people affected by drug and alcohol use and other life challenges.
As a Drop-in Centre Volunteer, you’ll work alongside our friendly team to welcome people, offer a listening ear and help individuals connect with the right support.
What you’ll be doing
- Welcoming and chatting with people who visit our centre.
- Supporting activities, workshops and groups.
- Helping people find the right support and services.
- Sharing health, wellbeing and harm reduction information.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the Drop-in Centre.
- Helping us create a friendly, positive and non-judgemental space.
We’re looking for someone who is
Friendly, caring, a good listener and passionate about helping others.
No previous experience is needed – training and support will be provided.
Gain new skills, meet new people and get valuable experience in community, drug and alcohol, and recovery services.

Drop-in Centre
Our drop-in centre, at the heart of the community in Sparkbrook, is the focal point for all our activity. Staffed by volunteers and health care professionals, we offer a warm welcome to anyone who is looking for help, advice or support. Just call between 9am and 5pm weekdays. No appointment is necessary.
